CAA set to celebrate ‘season for all’

The Cincinnati Arts Association is celebrating three decades of performances at the Aronoff Center with a 2025-26 season that spans continents, generations and genres.

The newly announced CAA Presents! season highlights the organization’s commitment to global artistry, family-friendly storytelling and inclusive programming, all staged at the downtown Cincinnati venue’s Procter & Gamble Hall, Jarson-Kaplan Theater and Fifth Third Bank Theater.

Global artists, fan favorites and fresh takes on tradition

The season opens with “Dog Man: The Musical” on Oct. 4-5, bringing the popular book series by Dav Pilkey to life with humor and heart. The musical is one of several family-friendly productions on the lineup.

Audiences can revisit the world of Bella and Edward with “Twilight In Concert” on Oct. 28, which pairs a screening of the original film with a live twelve-piece band playing the score amid candlelight.

Holiday highlights include “Campana Sobre Campana: Christmas in Mexico” on Dec. 2, a festive collaboration between Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuéllar and Ballet Folklorico del Rio Grande. On Dec. 5, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith and CeCe Winans reunite for “Christmas Together,” also at the P&G Hall, their first shared holiday tour since 1998.

Comedy and illusion meet in “The Jokers of Magic,” a double bill of offbeat trickery coming to the Jarson-Kaplan Theater on Jan. 24. Acts seen on “America’s Got Talent” and “Fool Us” promise a fast-paced evening of sleight-of-hand and laughs.

South Africa’s Ndlovu Youth Choir, known for its joyful performances and finalist run on “America’s Got Talent,” brings its high-energy blend of pop and African harmonies to the Queen City on Feb. 27.

Classic meets quirky with the Salzburg Marionette Theatre’s “The Sound of Music” on Mar. 6, where detailed marionettes perform Rodgers and Hammerstein’s timeless score.

Contemporary ballet company Complexions brings glam rock and athleticism to the P&G Hall on Mar. 19 with “STAR DUST,” a glitter-filled tribute to David Bowie that blends bold choreography and theatrical flair.

Music fans can step back into the folk-rock era with “The Simon & Garfunkel Story”, a multimedia concert experience hitting the Aronoff Center stage on Apr. 1. A full live band plays classics like “Mrs. Robinson” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” paired with archival footage and storytelling.

For younger audiences, “TREE” offers a gentle, sensory-rich environment filled with nature-inspired sights and sounds. It runs Apr. 25-26, with a special autism-friendly performance on Apr. 26 at 3 p.m.

The season wraps with “360 ALLSTARS” on May 7 at the P&G Hall, a street-culture spectacle featuring world-champion breakdancers, BMX riders, beatboxers and musicians in a high-octane urban circus.
