Aviatra Accelerators is launching a new workshop series this summer aimed at helping women entrepreneurs take their product-based businesses to the next level through wholesale.
The nonprofit, which supports women-owned businesses across the region, is partnering with Cincinnati-based Good ‘n Local to present the Wholesale Ready Workshop Series – a four-week program designed to demystify the wholesale process and equip entrepreneurs with tools and strategies for success.
Sessions will take place Mondays in July from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Aviatra’s Covington incubator, 112 W. Pike St. Each one will feature a panel with successful business owners sharing real-world experiences, along with industry experts offering practical guidance on topics like pricing, logistics and scaling up production. Topics include:
- July 7 – Sales Channels: Finding the right wholesale opportunities, from boutiques to big box retailers
- July 14 – Distribution & Manufacturing: Scaling production and streamlining fulfillment
- July 21 – Operations: Building the logistics and systems needed to grow
- July 28 – Pricing: Structuring pricing that works for both businesses and buyers
“Many business owners may be ready to grow but are unsure how to expand into wholesale. This workshop series was designed to help businesses in any stage of the wholesale process develop a strategy by providing them with actionable guidance from people who’ve done it successfully,” said Jill Morenz, Aviatra Accelerators’ president and CEO.
The full series costs $345 with early bird pricing available through June 22, or $375 after. Individual sessions are available for $100 each.
