A concert and gala featuring several of Cincinnati’s leading performing arts organizations will open the inaugural America’s River Roots Festival this fall.
The Spirit of America Gala, scheduled for Oct. 7 at Music Hall’s Springer Auditorium in Over-the-Rhine, will include performances by the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, Cincinnati Ballet and Cincinnati Opera.
The event serves as the official kickoff for the River Roots Festival, a regional celebration tied to America’s 250th anniversary. Running Oct. 8-12 along the riverfronts of Cincinnati, Covington and Newport, the festival will highlight the music, cuisine and culture of the region’s river cities and their role in shaping the American story.
The gala performance is family-friendly and runs approximately 65 minutes without intermission. Tickets are on sale now, starting at $51.25. More details about the performance will be announced at a later date.
If the event date changes, organizers will transfer tickets to the new performance. Those unable to attend will have options, including ticket exchanges or credit toward a future event. Refunds are not available unless otherwise noted.
