Securing the Future marks 25th year with full-day nonprofit conference

Securing the Future, the region’s largest nonprofit leadership conference, marks its 25th year Oct. 29 with an expanded full-day program.

Organized by the Leadership Council for Nonprofits, the event brings together board members, staff, and donors from across the Tristate every year to build strategic, leadership and resource development skills.

This year’s theme is “Mission: Possible – Resilience, Connection, and Courage in Uncertain Times.” The program at Cintas Center features keynote addresses from Suzanne Smith of Social Impact Architects and Patrice Borders of AmplifyEI. Smith will open the conference with “Nonprofit 2.0: Navigating the Road Ahead,” while Borders will headline the luncheon with “Lead with Emotional Intelligence, Live with Intention.”

The expanded event format includes a full slate of workshops led by local and national nonprofit leaders. Sessions will cover topics such as fundraising, succession planning, partnerships and culture change.
