Talbert House has named Kevin Hackman its new director of strategy development.
Hackman brings more than 20 years of experience in fundraising, donor engagement and nonprofit development. He has held leadership roles at the Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency, Cancer Family Care, the American Diabetes Association and Camp Joy, a nonprofit outdoor education and adventure center in Clarksville, Ohio, about 40 miles east of downtown Cincinnati.
Talbert House said those positions gave Hackman extensive experience in developing and executing major fundraising initiatives and helped him build strong relationships with boards, donors and community partners across Greater Cincinnati.
In his new role, Hackman will lead the agency’s development work and help advance its mission to empower children, adults and families to live healthy, safe and productive lives.
“Kevin brings a strong passion for this work and a proven history in fundraising,” said Teri Nau, Talbert House’s vice president of community and donor relations. “His leadership will strengthen our development efforts and support the vital programs that serve our clients and community.”
Hackman earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Xavier University and holds a nonprofit management certificate from Duke University.
