For more than three decades, the 20th Century Cincinnati Vintage Modern Expo has been a cornerstone of the city’s cultural landscape. What began as a celebration of modern design has grown into a nationally recognized event that brings together collectors, creatives, preservationists, and community partners from across the country and beyond.
Now entering its 31st year, 20CC holds a unique place nationally as the longest-running and second-largest vintage modern design event in the United States. Each year, it welcomes thousands of attendees and exhibitors to the Sharonville Convention Center, representing the full spectrum of modern design, from accessible vintage finds to rare, museum-quality pieces.
Just as important as the design itself is 20CC’s commitment to community impact.
Supporting SPCA Cincinnati
In 2026, 20th Century Cincinnati is proud to partner with SPCA Cincinnati, with a portion of every ticket sold benefiting the organization’s life-saving work for animals in our community.
This partnership is further supported by Sweet Modern, a vintage modern warehouse based in Akron, Ohio and premier sponsor of this year’s Expo. Sweet Modern is donating a stunning, custom-made Eames lounge chair and ottoman dog bed, handcrafted in Brazilian rosewood and vintage Italian leather. SPCA Cincinnati will raffle the piece onsite during the Expo and online to a national audience, with 100 percent of proceeds going directly to the organization.
The collaboration reflects a shared belief that good design can also do good.
Preservation at the Heart of 20CC
Preservation has always been central to the mission of 20th Century Cincinnati. Through its ongoing partnership with Cincinnati Preservation, 20CC continues to advocate for thoughtful stewardship of historic architecture and design. Together, they have launched the Young Modernists Program, a new initiative supporting emerging designers, collectors, and preservation-minded creatives ages 18 to 30 through VIP access, memberships, and educational opportunities.
A Landmark Collaboration
This year’s Special Exhibit Partner is the Edith Farnsworth House, a National Historic Landmark located in Plano, Illinois and designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Often cited as one of the most significant residential works of modern architecture, the Farnsworth House represents a defining moment in architectural history.
Through an informative exhibit and onsite presence at the Expo, the Farnsworth House brings national preservation efforts directly to Cincinnati, offering attendees a deeper understanding of modernism’s legacy and its continued relevance today.
Design for Everyone
What sets 20th Century Cincinnati apart is its accessibility. The Expo is designed for both first-time attendees and seasoned collectors, offering a welcoming environment where inspiration and education go hand-in-hand.
20CC stands as an example of how creative businesses can support nonprofits, preservation, and community causes while remaining rooted in excellence and authenticity.
