Baker Hunt seeks regional 2D artists for DBL Law exhibition

Regional 2D artists have a chance to showcase their work in a spring exhibition exploring themes from surrealism and abstraction to architecture, flora, animals and portraiture.

The exhibition, curated by Northern Kentucky-based Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center, will feature more than 40 works and run March 25 through Sept. 4. The show, presented with support from DBL Law, will be displayed on the first and fourth floors of the firm’s office on East Fourth Street in Covington.

Submissions are being accepted through Feb. 25, with no application fee and up to three works allowed per artist. All sales go directly to the artists. Applications are available at bakerhunt.org, with acceptance notifications set for Feb. 27.

The opening reception is scheduled for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on March 25, with light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artists. Free docent-led tours will be offered throughout the run, with advance registration required.
