The Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Cincinnati has announced this year’s slate of honorees for National Philanthropy Day, celebrated each November.
Philanthropist of the Year: Brad Lindner, retired president/CEO of United Dairy Farmers. Nominated by Keep Cincinnati Beautiful.
Volunteer of the Year: Mike Hirschfeld, senior counselor at Bricker Graydon Wyatt LLP. Nominated by Meals on Wheels.
Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy: Shubhangi Srishti, Lakota East High School student, co-founder and board president of TechElevate. Nominated by Magnified Giving.
Outstanding Corporation or Foundation:
First Financial Bank, led by CEO Archie Brown. Nominated by Playhouse in the Park.
Lifetime Achievement in Fundraising: Robert C. Reifsnyder, retired president/CEO of United Way of Greater Cincinnati. Nominated by Jim Zimmerman.

National Philanthropy Day is set aside to promote philanthropy and recognize individuals, organizations and businesses inspiring change through their significant impact on nonprofit organizations. The annual program is AFP’s signature event. Movers & Makers is proud to serve as media sponsor.
This year, instead of a luncheon, AFP will hold an evening reception. This new format aims to allow greater opportunities for conversation, networking and re-connecting.
