TriHealth names new president of Good Samaritan College of Nursing & Health Science

TriHealth introduced Amy Waldbillig as the next president of the Good Samaritan College of Nursing & Health Science.

Waldbillig brings more than 20 years of higher education and workforce development leadership experience, with a track record of expanding access, strengthening programs, and building pathways that help students and communities thrive. She served for the last eight years as vice president of enrollment services and workforce development at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. She also served as Cincinnati State’s executive director of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Program.

Through these roles, Waldbillig provided executive leadership for enrollment services, workforce development, institutional marketing, and health programing, all while managing an operational portfolio of roughly $10 million, according to TriHealth.

“I am honored for the opportunity to serve as Good Samaritan College’s next president,” said Waldbillig. “Training the next generation of our region’s healthcare workers is one of the most sacred responsibilities available in education. Our college’s future graduates will serve a pivotal role caring for our community’s patients of all ages and I am thrilled to support them in their training.”

Good Samaritan College of Nursing is a private, nonprofit college founded by the Sisters of Charity and located inside Good Samaritan Hospital. The College has been educating healthcare professionals for more than 125 years and is part of the TriHealth network

Waldbillig was selected following an extensive national search. She will begin serving her new role Sept. 14.

“As Good Samaritan College continues its important mission to educate, prepare, and inspire the healthcare workforce our community needs, Amy’s experience strengthening healthcare education programs, aligning academic offerings with workforce needs, and building strong partnerships across the region will be especially valuable.
