Each print issue will contain a special section focused on one topic* area and, often, “Notables” within that nonprofit sector. These are the broad topics:

- June: NEW Multiculturalism
- July: NEW Addiction services and recovery
- August: NEW Animal welfare
- September: Arts & culture
- October: Innovation and technology: AI for good
- November: National Philanthropy Day honorees
- December/January: TBA!
*The area of focus may be shifted, refined or narrowed as dictated by timeliness, editorial decisions and/or advertising support.
