Throughout October, everyone who uses the app will receive a free month of ArtsWave Pass, which provides 50% off tickets to arts experiences and offers at restaurants, retailers and other businesses across the region.
The Flow pass, now in its second season, connects audiences with productions and exhibitions presented by local arts organizations. This year that includes the Cincinnati Arts Association, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Taft Museum of Art and Cincinnati Opera.
The inaugural Cincinnati Art Week will take over Over-the-Rhine from Oct. 3-10, with exhibitions, artist talks, pop-up galleries and other events.
The funding will support 46 arts organizations across Greater Cincinnati, helping pay for performances, exhibitions, arts education and other community programming.
The grants are a cornerstone of a broader effort to expand arts-driven community development throughout Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties.
The nonprofit’s annual community fundraiser supports more than 150 arts-centric organizations and projects across the region.
The grants fund arts and cultural projects that bring people together and highlight local voices, which ArtsWave believes has the power to strengthen neighborhoods. The program supports a wide range of organizations – from traditional arts groups to community nonprofits and local governments – encouraging projects that are accessible, inclusive and serve the whole community.
The annual campaign helps ArtsWave continue to provide essential financial support to arts organizations, artists and community projects across the Greater Cincinnati–Northern Kentucky region.
The region – spanning southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeast Indiana – has appeared in the SMU DataArts index every year since the index launched in 2020.
Subscribers receive access to four Black-centered performances spanning visual art, orchestral music, theater and opera, along with pre-show gatherings called Flow Socials.
