
Flow has been designed to showcase professional, evocative African American artists whose work is unique and exciting. The goal is to attract a diverse audience with a shared appreciation for artists of varying backgrounds.
ArtsWave announced a new grant-making program – ArtsWave Pride. The program’s purpose is to promote, celebrate and create inclusive arts experiences that may appeal to or have relevance to the broader LGBTQIA community.
The most basic elements of any story are a beginning, a middle and an end. The more nuanced elements include an introduction, interesting characters, conflict, high stakes, transformation and resolution. By any of these measures, the story of Cincy Stories remains incomplete. The end, or resolution, is nowhere in sight. But the power of a story, in the telling and the hearing, has been plain to see.
Jay Chatterjee, recognized for his transformational impact on the University of Cincinnati architecture program and the campus itself, will be honored by ArtsWave with its Sachs Fund Prize.
