It’s the last roundup before Opening Day. What’s on your home plate for the coming weekend?
The Cincinnati Art Museum has received a $1 million grant for an innovative redesign of its Schmidlapp Gallery. The renovations – made possible by the grant from Jacob G. Schmidlapp Trusts, Fifth Third Bank, Trustee, along with financial support from the state – will allow visitors to connect with art and engage in focused study of collections.
The Cincinnati Art Museum will continue its legacy of supporting Cincinnati artists with “Employed: A Staff Art Exhibition.”
Included are more than 70 pieces by 37 working artists from the Cincinnati region who lead dual lives as artists and museum professionals. The exhibition features fashion, sculpture, painting, photography and digital art.
