Culture FIX: Oct. 8-14

Can we believe it this time? Is it really, finally fall? Besides crisp nights and the smell of bonfires, the most sentimental season offers plenty of opportunities to indulge ourselves in a cornucopia of culture, from our river history to new creators for the concert hall and cinema. Like a pile of leaves, let’s dive in.

As the stunning shades of fall are incredibly varied and textured, so goes our cultural life. From neon to Sinatra to East Asian art and everything in between, the choices are bountiful. Expose yourself to film, world-class lecturers and our own Cincinnati Pops in this burst of activity.

Culture FIX: Sept. 17-23

Get your fill of outdoor activities before the season finally cools down. Movies in the park, blues on the Square and Oktoberfest on the riverfront await. Intriguing lectures, great theater and a film festival also have plenty of empty seats that need you in them. Enjoy.

As summer winds down, you might think there’s not much to do. We’re here to tell you otherwise. Washington Park is where its at with blues, jazz and film. Visual art is abundant. Blue Ash/Montgomery Symphony and Kentucky Symphony play holiday tunes and Playhouse in the Park opens its season.
