The annual Art & Antiques Festival is ending its run after 50 years, but that doesn’t mean its organizers are abandoning their fundraising efforts for Convalescent Hospital for Children and Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Grab a bib and head for The Midsummer Harvest, a picnic experience featuring a local, organic and sustainably raised feast prepared by Greater Cincinnati’s top sustainably focused chefs. The purpose of the event is to help raise awareness of the link between sustainably raised food and children’s health.
Some 1,400 friends and supporters of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center joined special guests from the Cincinnati Reds for the 12th annual Celestial Ball. In hopes of stemming suicide in young people, the James W. Miller Memorial Fund will host two fundraising events this year – the new 1N5 event May 21 and the seventh annual Warrior Run on Oct. 1.
Nine students received new laptops as part of the University of Cincinnati Medical Mentor Program, or Med Mentors. The laptops were made possible by a gift from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
