Cincinnati Nature Center plans the ultimate party in the woods at this year’s spring gala. The “Back to Nature”-themed evening will honor executive director Bill Hopple, who will retire in May after 23 years in the role.
About 340 guests partied in the woods at Krippendorf Lodge in Milford to support Cincinnati Nature Center. About $107,000 was raised at “Back to Nature: An Enchanted Evening in the Woods.”

Plans call for the Center for Conservation & Stewardship to be housed in the former Groesbeck home at the Nature Center, which is being renovated for a spring opening. Cory Christopher will be its director.
