Lots of things are winding up this week, as we hurtle towards autumn and a return to the routine of the school year. Here are a few ongoing exhibits to catch before they go, and some new offerings, as well.
Just when one might think it was time to take a break for, oh, I don’t know, relaxing with some iced tea on the patio, there are major art exhibitions and the opera season revving up.
If spring has a voice, for instance, it’ll be raised in Music Hall for the next couple of weeks. There’s plenty more even than that, though, as you’ll see in a few paragraphs.

Well, we’re in the thick of it now: the weeks when the world will force you into holiday cheer through the sheer volume of seasonal programming. If last week’s bounty didn’t quite do it, this week should bring you to critical mass.
Don’t be fooled just because most of the Queen City’s school districts are starting their year this week. It’s still summer for another month. There’ll be plenty of balmy weather beckoning you to partake of some of the many activities on tap for you this week.
