Cincinnati’s contemporary chamber music collective, concertnova, announces its 20th concert season: five new mainstage programs and three additional events, ranging from a sculpture-filled forest to a Krampus-led holiday cabaret to a minimalism festival curated by composer/pianist Timo Andres.
The festival, organized by Cincinnati-based record label Whited Sepulchre Records, will bring four days of experimental music to venues across Downtown and Over-the-Rhine from Sept. 24-27.
Many of our favorite groups conclude their seasons in the next few days. From Grateful Dead to Beethoven, there is plenty of music on tap. Our rich jazz scene holds its own and you can experience a “walking concert.” There’s not quite 525,600 minutes of culture, this week, but surely spring is the season of love.
