Duke Energy Center closure means short-term pain, long-term gain for Cincinnati event industry

The Duke Energy Convention Center will close for 18 months starting next summer as part of a major renovation of the 55-year-old downtown Cincinnati facility.

Leaders acknowledged some short-term pains related to the closure. But they believe the enhancements to the center and the new Convention Center District will benefit the region as well as event promoters.

Cincy Wine Fest Returns In-Person This May 

Wine lovers, rejoice! The Cincinnati International Wine Festival is returning for an in-person celebration of its 31st year of giving back one glass at a tiime. Typically held each March, the nonprofit festival’s main events will be held in May this year after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
