The 10th Fall Symposium will feature leading artists and scholars exploring the industrial history of photography and its role in shaping social narratives.

We’re beginning to see all the traditional, familiar signs of fall in Cincinnati: The days become shorter than the nights, the Reds miss the playoffs, the Bengals spot the rest of the league three games . . . Still, it’s warm enough to enjoy various outdoor arts and culture events, and this week’s schedule is packed with them.

FotoFocus, the largest event of its kind in the United States, returns this fall to Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton, Columbus and beyond. The FotoFocus Biennial, which celebrates photography and lens-based art, expands to 108 projects at 87 venues, making this the largest program in event history.
