Ladies and gentlemen, your chariot (race) awaits. The Hyde Park Blast Chariot Chase races require a three-person team and a self-assembled chariot with two wheels and a strut. The rest is left to each team’s imagination.
The 2017 Hyde Park Blast raised $57,500, pushing the total since its founding in 2001 to $500,000.
The annual Hyde Park Blast will bring cyclists, chariot racers, walkers, runners and those who simply enjoy a good party to Hyde Park Square for a full day of activities.
Saturday, June 25, 7:30 a.m.-midnight, Hyde Park Square – The Hyde Park Blast will attract runners, walkers, cyclists and chariot racers to Hyde Park Square for a day of fun – and fundraising for two cancer-fighting charities. And meet the Blast’s 5-year-old ‘queen’, Brooklyn Smith.
Registration opens March 1 for teams to compete as part of the 15th annual event.
