The Cincinnati arts nonprofit has launched what it says is the region’s only publicly accessible stone lithography facility outside a university setting.
Together, the books cover 71 exhibitions and 1,087 works by 673 artists representing 49 states and 12 countries, including student artists from 54 academic institutions.
The merger ends I.imagine’s operations as a standalone nonprofit, with its programs and resources now part of Manifest’s education offerings, emphasizing opportunities for middle and high school students.
A June 7 celebration will mark the start of Phase One of “Manifest Emerges,” a $3.2 million capital project aimed at transforming the organization’s historic facility into a fully realized Manifest Center for the Visual Arts.
Funding will go toward the renovation and preservation of Manifest’s historic campus on Central Parkway. It will also support a range of arts-based programming.
