The Cincinnati-based nonprofit announced the awards this week as part of its Launch and Leap funding programs – its two flagship funding programs target companies at different stages of development.
For winning, each team will take part in a summer program and receive a prize package valued at more than $28,000. The package includes a Main Street Ventures Launch grant, housing and living expenses for the program’s duration.
The five-day Inventure Entrepreneurship Academy provides a hands-on learning experience for local teenagers interested in entrepreneurship.

The teams are University of Cincinnati students Aniruddhan Ramesh and Joe Kuncheria Panjikaran, University of Dayton student Alayah Harris and Miami University student Tatem Linder.
These awards are part of Main Street Ventures’ Leap and Launch funding programs. This year, it awarded more than $1.1 million in grants.
Launch It: Cincy provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to spend two months living and working in Cincinnati while having access to office space, mentoring, finance support and other resources to help grow their business ideas.
