Culture FIX: Nov. 22-28

Take a deep breath and rest a bit before the culture-saturated holiday season heats up. Enjoy time with family and friends and take in some Queen City favorites, together. Families can enjoy the Christkindlmarkt or some fun on the Purple People Bridge. Or, drop the kids at Grandma’s and head out for a date night to the symphony. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Culture FIX: Nov. 8-14

Culture FIX: Nov. 1-7

Halloween is over and all the scary stuff is behind us, right? Oh no, not at all, culture fans! Culture FIX: June 7-13

Art should be about helping you look at things through a different lens and this week’s events do that and more, so I need not say more. Go, see differently and thank me later.

Culture FIX: May 17-23

Lots of dynamic offerings this week – including AI art – as evidenced by a record eight (8!) embedded videos. This is transition time, from regular season to summer season, so expect the unexpected. But May Festival remains embedded in our culture like clockwork – 150 years and counting. Amazing.

Culture FIX: May 10-16

This week begins with a film about office work and ends with a talk about how finding a place to put your car at work shapes our lives. But there are many other options in between: scads of arts and crafts (indoor and out), music (Duke Ellington to Electro Swing to Mambo), more films (from small town Mass. to revolutionary India to a Filipina country singer), hip-hop poetry and soil-to-soil fashion. Goodness!

Culture FIX: April 12-18

Spring is sprung, the grass is riz, I wonder where the culture is … well, it’s sprouting up everywhere! So enjoy the warmer weather, get out there and see what Cincinnati’s arts scene has to offer this week.
