Cincinnati’s fabulous biennial light and art festival is behind us – but that doesn’t mean a bleak, post-BLINK wasteland is ahead of us. Here are some highlights from the coming week’s busy cultural calendar.
BLINK, and you might miss it. For four days every two years, the cityscape of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky comes alive with the nation’s largest festival of light, art and projections. BLINK Cincinnati dominates this week’s cultural calendar, of course, but there’s more here to enjoy.
Weekends are certainly the time to get out and enjoy a concert or an art exhibit, but have you ever tried relaxing in front of an artsy movie or some jazz after a long day at work? Take advantage of an empty restaurant or easy downtown parking on a Monday night and plan an evening at The Woodward. How about some Camp Washington Chili and the American Sign Museum on Thursday?
And just like that, summer is upon us. Theater, concerts, a little thing called Summerfair, and the launch of Fringe. But wait, there’s more… (Please try to keep up, ok? 😉
