The new arts season is always highly anticipated by culture lovers. This is the year for FotoFocus, a biennial extravaganza exploding onto our visual arts scene in Cincinnati and the region. Its programs dominate many exhibition venues from here to our state capital.

Culture FIX: June 22-28

The coming week is chock-full of visual art, song and even some art songs, plus a parade and festival overflowing with Pride. A week-long feast for all your senses.

This week’s events tend to explore the edges, the avant-garde, things created just outside the spectrum, touching on civil rights, gender and sexual identity, the environment and the war in Ukraine. We invite you to explore, investigate, experience … or just hit up Italianfest and eat your cares away! You decide.

And the seasons begin to close… It does not seem possible that we are nearing the end of the main 2021-22 performance season, but here we are. Get ’em while they’re hot. Just a few weeks left before the switch-over to summer. Still plenty of great things to choose from, I promise!
