Carnegie Art of Food takes on a ’50s vibe

The Carnegie’s popular Art of Food is back with two nights of food and art, and this year it’s going retro. Local culinary artists will create traditional recipes celebrating ’50s classics from the quintessential “Joy of Cooking” to the revolutionary TV dinner.

Forget politics. What about Bob Ross?

The Carnegie is offering its own twist on this debate season, with a mock-serious debate on the merits of Bob Ross, the prolific PBS painter with the iconic perm. In order to live up to its name – “Drinking About Art: The Bob Ross Debate” – the event is also an interactive drinking game for the audience, the debaters and the moderator.
