The grant will cover a large portion of upgrades to the Academy’s heating, cooling and water systems. Once finished, AAC expects to slash its annual energy use by about 46%, one of the highest projected savings among recipients in this funding round.
The program helps repay student loans if a graduate earns less than $50,000 a year. The support continues until income rises above that threshold or the loans are paid off.
The Red Door Project started as a pop-up art gallery event in OTR. The goal was to help people see the potential of the event space as well as the surrounding area.
