The TQL Foundation donated $100,000 to Mercy Health-Anderson Hospital’s renovation and expansion. The gift is earmarked for the Family Birthing Center’s new lobby. The birthing center renovation marks the second phase of the hospital’s expansion and will begin in the fall. Once completed, the Family Birthing Center will include 30 private patient rooms and enhanced special care nursery.

The foundation was begun by Ken Oaks, founder and CEO of Total Quality Logistics, the freight brokerage company based in Eastgate.
