The Visiting Nurse Association raised more than $120,000 at its 17th annual Caring Awards Celebration. Proceeds help provide home health and personal care services for people who cannot afford to pay. The emcee was John Lomax from Local 12. Nurse-humorist Terry Foster gave the keynote presentation. Honorees were University of Cincinnati researcher Dr. Cora Ogle and Cincinnati Health Department medical director Dr. O’dell Owens. The presenting sponsor was UC Health.
