Sunday, Aug. 21, Adath Israel Congregation
Adath Israel Congregation wants the entire community – regardless of religious affiliation – to get involved in its 13th annual Mitzvah Day. The opportunities include a blood drive, Cook for a Cause, Community Sukkah Panel, Stapling for Hunger and more. A new event this year is Walk to Stomp Out Childhood Poverty for Childhood Food Solutions.
Mitzvah Day is organized by the Adath Israel Congregation Social Action Committee and sponsored by the Kreines Family Endowment Fund. Rob Festenstein and Brett Schwartz are serving as chairs.
Registration will open Aug. 1.
