The Civic Garden Center welcomed more than 2,000 visitors for its annual plant sale weekend. Now in its 56th year, it included the traditional plant sale preview party and the two-day sale.
The preview party kicked things off Friday night with dinner, music, lattes and first peek at the thousands of e plants available for purchase. Saturday and Sunday’s plant sale saw guests scooping up their favorites from the 17 booths organized by volunteers. Saturday afternoon featured the Plant Project, a new family-focused event that included lunch and the chance for children to create a fairy garden and for adults to make centerpieces for their spring table settings.
