Saturday, Oct. 1, 6 p.m., Hyatt Regency
More than 600 supporters are expected for the Red Tie Gala, the signature fundraiser for Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House.
The black- (or red-) tie event includes cocktails, dinner, dancing and an auction. Music will be provided by Swampthang.
Auction items include a rare bottle of 12-year-old Pappy Van Winkle bourbon and a private party at Stir in Montgomery. All auction items will be sold via mobile bidding, freeing guests to mix and mingle.
Tickets start at $175.
Funds raised will help support families’ stays in the house, which last year provided housing for 1,800 families while their children were being treated at nearby hospitals. Another 1,200 sought housing, but were unable to be accommodated because of lack of space.
