Bluegrass concert to benefit Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky

Saturday, Oct. 1, noon-dusk, Devou Park, Covington

The third annual DevouGrass Music & Arts Festival will draw bluegrass bands and crafters to Devou Park to celebrate the beginning of fall.
“We’re looking forward to another great celebration of local bluegrass talent, excellent food, talented artisans and crafters – basically showcasing what makes our community great,” said Rebekah Gensler, DevouGrass organizer and Devou Good board member.

Admission is free. All proceeds from donations and merchandise sales will go to Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky youth addiction treatment programs.

The music, food, and arts festival will feature live bluegrass music, children’s activities, gourmet food trucks, arts and crafts and more.
Before the music begins, DevouGrass Kids Run and Ride will return, with registration at 11 a.m. It results from a partnership between the Devou Park Trail Collective and the Devou Good Project. Kids should take their own bikes and helmets. All participants will receive a free goodie backpack and be entered in a raffle to win a free bicycle from Reser Bicycle Outfitters.

  • 1:15 p.m. – Circus Mojo
  • 2:30 p.m. – Hickory Robot
