ReSource will recognize three annual award winners at its 30th anniversary celebration.

ReSource announced at the kickoff for its 30th anniversary earlier this year that it would honor Messer Construction Co. as its corporate community partner award winner and Easter Seals as its nonprofit community partner. The new Founder’s Award goes to People Working Cooperatively, which served as an incubator for ReSource in its early stages and helped launch ReSource as an independent organization.

Emeritus board members Amelia Crutcher and Kathy Wilkinson will serve as honorary chairs for the event.

The Cincinnati-based nonprofit distributes corporate donations – excess goods such as office furniture, personal care items and operational supplies – to hundreds of area charities.

As part of its 30th anniversary celebration, ReSource also held an open house in July and partnered with the Cincinnati Reds, Procter & Gamble and the Cincinnati Zoo for the 2016 Community Makeover of the Espy Youth Center project. ReSource provided furniture and supplies needed to launch the expanded youth program in its new space.
