Saturday, Oct. 22, 6-11 p.m., Metropolitan Club on the Covington riverfront
The Covington Ladies Home is launching a $3.5 million capital campaign just as the home celebrates its 130th anniversary.
Currently housed in a three-story Victorian listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the home is hoping to raise enough to expand the space with a single-story addition. Through the 3-year campaign, CLH hopes to raise $3.5 million in order to perform renovations and build the expansion, which will allow for improved care to the elderly.
For 130 years, Covington Ladies Home has provided a place where every woman matters, regardless of her financial means.
The gala anniversary celebration at the Metropolitan Club will include a cocktail hour, dinner, live and silent auctions, dancing to live music by The Turkeys and a brief program. The event is limited to 200 guests, with tickets $125. Seating is by reservation only.
TriHealth is the primary sponsor.
