Bloom nets $270K for Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones’ 12th annual Bloom event drew more than 400 guests to Greenacres Arts Center and raised more than $270,000 for programs serving people with disabilities.

Co-chairs Kevin and Michelle Jones joined honorees Beth and Doug Brendamour in welcoming supporters to the tented party. Guests dined on tapas from 23 restaurants and caterers, danced to music by Clueless and bid on auction items. The presenting sponsor for the Oct. 1 event was Huntington Bank.

Platinum sponsors were the Pettengill Family, the August A. Rendigs Jr. and Helen J. Rendigs Foundation and Beth and Doug Brendamour and family.

Stepping Stones is a United Way partner agency serving more than 1,000 children, teens and adults with disabilities at program sites in Indian Hill, Batavia, Norwood and Monfort Heights.
