Saturday, Nov. 4, 6 p.m., Irish Heritage Center, 3905 Eastern Ave., Cincinnati

Celebrate time-honored traditions of Irish culture at the Irish Heritage Center’s eighth annual Green Tie Affair Gala. Beginning with “céad míle fáilte” (100,000 welcomes) at the door, the evening will be filled with food, drink, silent and live auctions, and the hospitality for which the Irish are famous.

Featured entertainment will include Corkman Conor Cunneen (“An Irishman Speaks”) and the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick Glee Club. The 2016 and 2017 Ohio Rose of Tralee winners will attend, as will Vice Consul General of Ireland Justin Dolan of the Chicago Consulate.

“The craic will be mighty!” (It will be lots of fun!)

The Irish Heritage Center is a nonprofit charitable foundation. It is an arts center as well, featuring a wide array of artistic disciplines.
