Meals on Wheels adds Cincy native to C-suite

Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY has appointed Mike Hogan as its chief advancement officer.

Hogan, a Cincinnati native, brings 20 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and community engagement. He started his nonprofit career in 2002, spending 18 years in higher education fundraising, primarily at the University of Cincinnati.

At UC he led development efforts for the university’s colleges of law, engineering and applied science, business, and design, architecture, art, and planning (DAAP). He played key roles in UC’s $1 billion “Proudly Cincinnati” campaign and the record-setting “Next, Now” campaign that wrapped up last year.

Most recently, he led fundraising and engagement at the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. He began his role at Meals on Wheels earlier this month.

“Coming back home to Cincinnati, I’m passionate about connecting philanthropic passions with the needs of our community,” said Hogan, who lives in the city with his wife, Lori, and their daughters, Abby and Kelsey.

“Meals on Wheels provides essential services, promoting independence for more than 10,000 clients,” he continued. “This simply wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our community and the philanthropic impact they make every day.”
