Meet your local park rangers, climb into a SWAT truck and grab a free burger – all in one evening.
Great Parks Rangers are inviting neighbors, park guests and fellow first responders to National Night Out from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21 at Winton Woods Harbor. The annual event brings residents and first responders together in communities across the country for an evening of food, entertainment and conversation in a friendly, relaxed setting.
The rangers first hosted National Night Out in 2022 at the same park. This year, the FBI will join them along with SWAT, urban search and rescue, K-9 and other specialty units from across Hamilton County. Visitors can explore their vehicles and gear, meet the people behind the badges and learn how each team helps keep the community safe.
Around the harbor you’ll find games, music and free burgers and fries from dinner sponsor 50 West Brewing, while supplies last.
Admission is free and Great Parks’ motor vehicle permit requirements will be waived during the event.
