Women’s clubs coach kids in 3D Printers Club

United Way’s Women of Tocqueville and Women Investing in the Next Generation led a 3D Printers Club in conjunction with the Greater Cincinnati STEM Collaborative and South Avondale Elementary School.

Fifteen fifth-grade girls participated in the 10-week workshop under the guidance of mentors from members of the two groups. The students showcased their 3D group inventions at the end of the workshop.

The program came together thanks to a grant from a National Science Foundation, the University of Cincinnati Research Institute and the Greater Cincinnati Stem Collaborative.
