WAVE’s ‘blue’ party promises to make a splash for Aquarium

Friday, Oct. 21, 7:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m., Newport Aquarium

Despite its name, no one is expected to be “blue” at this year’s Blue Party, the Wave Foundation’s 11th annual Nauti Nite fundraiser.
In hopes of topping last year’s record-setting event, organizers are promising guests unlimited food and beverages, exotic animal encounters, silent auctions and live entertainment. Oh, and guests are asked to show support for ocean conservation by donning their finest blue-colored attire.

Tickets are $75, $60 for aquarium passholders.
