Despite a time change, intermittent rain and a possible downtown visit from Donald Trump, the Heart Mini on March 13 drew its largest crowd ever, with a record-breaking 27,300 runners and walkers. Greater Cincinnati’s largest fundraiser for the American Heart Association was presented by Mercy Health.
The Heart Mini offered a variety of runs and walks for participants of all fitness levels. The weekend began with a Health & Fitness Expo at the Duke Energy Convention Center on Saturday. New this year, was the first Heart Mini After Party, Stay & Play at the Banks. Developed by the young professional committee Young@heart, Stay & Play hosted a giant inflatable playground for adults and children.
